Someone Needs You!!

I am recovering from one of the worst 'diseases' that writers suffer from, commonly known as a writer's block.  A condition that can last for a long period of time. Symptoms range from having nothing to write about to having an idea on what to write about but not being able to actually put your thoughts together and write. It also includes writing and deleting over and over again and having many things to write about but not knowing how to narrow it down. Trust me it is real! True story! So my condition has lasted for about a year now, BUT enough is enough. I decided to write again. I trust that this will be an insightful piece What is the most prominent feeling that you get whenever you read the newspapers or listen to prime time news. I can confidently say it is a myriad of feelings. You get all these emotions of disgust, anger, disappointment and frustration. Times have changed, men have changed, the hearts of men have waxed cold and human life is no longer a t...

SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME (SIDS)

Just like any other bright afternoon Anastacia a young mother fed her child, washed her and breastfed her till she slept. Baby Angie was an adorable baby, six months old. Anastacia then laid her child to sleep in bed. As the day progressed three hours later, Baby Angie had not woken up, so Anastacia got worried and thought, “maybe I should just wake her up.” When she got to where the baby was, she realized that she was stiff, she wasn’t breathing at all. Anastacia tried waking her up but there was no response on rushing her to the hospital she was dead. What caused her death was a mystery because Baby Angie was not ill, she was in perfect health. Sudden Infant death Syndrome (SIDS) is a sudden death of an infant between one month and twelve months (one year). It is important to note that most infants who are affected are six months and below. This is because they still need lots of help with supporting themselves. Sudden infant syndrome does not have an exact course but it has...

It has been a while since I posted anything here yaani mpaka I feel ni kama the blog has grown old but nevertheless I have an interesting piece here for you today!!! Picture:Google Images How many times do you think of the number of hair on your head I bet rarely... well that makes the two of us. Last evening I came across Matthew 10:30 and it stated "BUT THE VERY HAIRS OF YOUR HEAD ARE ALL NUMBERED." I thought to myself who has all that time to count may hair one by one... Then it occurred to me, My Creator. Then it hit me, if God knows the number of hair on my head what then doesn't He know about me. Many times we are troubled and as we go before the presence of The Lord, we tend to behave like He is a stranger, like He does not know us, like He doesn't know how we feel or what we are going through... Guess what, if He knows the number of hair on your head what doesn't He know. For now, I will stop right there, as you go through your day Think about i...

REPENTANCE

Forbidden fruits taste sweetest Sin is fun but sin is wrong Yes it is WRONG Repentance is a need An urge created in us by the Holy Spirit When we sin our hearts are hardened We become immune We fail to hearken to the voice of Christ We ignore the conviction of the Spirit But remember we need repentance The devil is a liar, he deceives us He is sad because he is a loser But he never gives up. He triples his efforts So that he can win us to his side He makes us feel hopeless, worthless and lost He makes us feel that The Lord will not forgive But we have Repentance Repentance require a humble heart A down to earth, remorseful and contrite heart The conviction of the Holy Spirit The voice of Christ in us And the consciousness of our sinful nature Balaam repented because of fear, Judas Iscariot repented because of guilt Repe...
